Happy Mother's Day, everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope all the moms out there are having as good a day as mine is. i'm spending the day at my friends' house, and it's TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

so happy it's spring

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo glad that it's finally springtime! The weather's nice, the days are longer, and I'm on spring break! And I'm not gonna miss all those ants that infested our bathroom, either. Jeez! They were even in the shower! It was so gross, but I don't have the heart to kill them, so I'd just trap them under a paper cup or something. Gah! So disgusting!

My mom's partner works with this awesome guy (he took in our cats that had feline lukemia) who is also a Beatles fan and who's currently writing a book on them. He apparently has all these global connections and is making me a CD with recordings that I can't find anywhere else, or something. TOTALLY AWESOME, huh?!?!?!?!?! I'll probably burn a copy for my good friend that - you guessed it - is also a Beatles fan. Can't wait 'till he finishes!

Hi there. I'm Maria, and I'm new to blogging, so sorry if I totally mess this up. I'm still getting the hang of things, and it may take me a while.

I'm learning French but I'm not that good at it
I have exactly 5 very best friends and a few good friends
I'm really nice (most of the time)
I'm "creative," "genius," and I "pick up on things quickly," according to former teachers.
I'm an Atheist, and a Unitarian Universalist, so I get judged a lot.
I've played the viola and been vegetarian since the 4th grade
I took the ACT in the 7th grade (practice) and scored a 27...not bad
I'm not a "people person."
